Remote connection

Establishing a connection is easy. At the agreed time, click the “Open remote connection” button on this page.

You will be taken to a new page displaying the name of your psychologist as soon as they are ready to start the session. Enter your name in the text field and click on the green phone button to connect.

You don’t need any separate applications, registration, login or expertise, just access to the internet.

Identification

If your first meeting with your psychologist takes place remotely and your psychologist asks you to identify yourself, click the Identify button at the top right of the call page and follow the instructions. After identifying yourself, you can open the connection by pressing the green phone icon. If your psychologist has not asked you to identify yourself, do not do so.

A few technical notes

The remote connection is provided by the Finnish company Suvanto Care Oy. The connection complies with data security regulations concerning patient care. The connection works on all devices that can access the internet and have a camera, microphone and speaker. Chrome, Firefox or Opera are recommended as web browsers for most devices. The exception is iPhones and iPads running the iOS operating system, for which Safari is the recommended browser. When prompted by your device, allow the use of the camera and microphone in the browser settings.
